Science Fair Project Update
Please note that the first three Science Fair project due dates have been changed and are now all Monday, October 26th. I wanted to give every student a chance to sit down with the parents and have a conversation about what project would be the best for them to complete, so I am giving the weekend for this to be taken care of. Please make note of the change and please make sure that your child comes in on Monday with the title/topic, hypothesis, materials and procedures listed on the form that was given to them. Thank you so much for your continued support...especially with this project, which will be a major grade for 2nd quarter science! Thank you!

Science Fair
Students received their Science Fair packet today!
I am requesting for the students to review the packet with their parents tonight and have their parents sign the front page. I just want to make sure that all parents are aware of the newly assigned Science Fair Project.
All 5th graders must complete a Science Fair Project and all projects (as you will see on the front page of the packet) are due December 1st. That date may seem like a long way away, but it is not. We have due dates (or check-points) starting next week.
Please do not wait until the last minute for this type of project and please let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns!

Fall Celebration
Hey Everyone!
We are going to be having our Fall Celebration on Wednesday, October 28th. During this time we will have a snack of a cupcake, chips, juice box and will also have a candy exchange.
For the candy exchange each student will need to bring in a bag (at least 26 pieces) of individually wrapped candy. Lots of mini-packs of candy can be found during this time of year. Please see that your child brings in a bad with 26 pieces no later than the day before the event. We will be creating our treat bags using this candy.
If you can help out with cupcakes, chips or juice boxes for our celebration please just let me know.
